MISSIONS
(Joe Hernandez, Missions Trip Director)
Here at LFA we have a heart for missions. Lancaster First Assembly was established so that we would obey the command of our Lord in the book of Acts 1:8. We are to be witnesses from our city to the ends of the earth. Our focus is, and has been, spreading the good news of our Savior.
The news that He is the only salvation for this world and that it is imperative the world receive Him to be saved from the judgment that is coming and to enter His Kingdom. There have been various ways in which we have expressed the love of Christ, including special events here in our city and church, many missionary trips in Central and South America, Eastern Europe – where our work has been building schools, churches, and bakeries for orphanages, and doing medical, dental, and optical work. We have worked in these nations with orphanages, widows, orphans and fatherless children. There is currently special work being done in Romania with children and starting a new missionary school in Fiji.
We invite you to be part of our joy in serving our Lord and serving the people whom God loves and wants to save. Only in our love for our Lord and love for people can we obtain joy and fulfillment in our lives.
